Just Accepted: A Review Article on Natural Architectures for Tissue Engineering and Regenerative Medicine
03 July 2020
Have a look at this recent article, if you want to know how surface arhitectures can affect cell behaviour.
The ability to control the interaction between functional biomaterials and biological systems is of great importance for tissue engineering. Using natural surfaces as templates for bioinspired design can stimulate progress in the field of regenerative medicine, tissue engineering and materials science. This collaborative literature review article aims to combine the state of the art knowledge in natural and artificial surfaces, with an emphasis on material properties known to affect cell behaviour.
