Sander is currently serving as a resident in orthopedic surgery at the Maxima Medical Centre, concurrently pursuing a Ph.D. at the Technical University of Eindhoven. His medical training was completed at Maastricht University with clinical rotations at the Universitätskliniken Innsbruck and Kasturba Medical College. His research focus lies in utilizing wearables to measure knee instability in patients with anterior cruciate ligament ruptures during dynamic activities. Sander has a special interest in the intersection of orthopedic surgery and digital health, exploring innovative connections in the field.
